Primal Bows return to Fortnite with Bownanza Week

Precision is key.
Fortnite Bows Bownanza Week

Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 1 has introduced plenty of content for fans to enjoy. From new weapons, such as the powerful Machine Pistol, to the debut of dynamic weather, Epic Games continues to keep the season fresh. Also, this season has seen the return of older content, like points of interest. Now, another weapon has made a return — bows. You may remember the Primal Bows from Chapter 2: Season 6 of Fortnite. Well, they are here once more and available to add to your inventory.

There are four types of bows that you can find across the island. You’ll be able to find Primal Flame bows, Primal Stink bows, Mechanical Explosive bows, and Mechanical Shockwave bows as ground loot or in chests. Of course, you will have to load your bows with arrows. These can now be found when you open ammo boxes.

The bows are back in Fortnite with some challenges waiting to be completed

The bows are tied to the Bownanza Week challenges. Completing quests while using a bow grants you 8,000 XP towards your battle pass. However, the bows aren’t permanent additions to the game. All four Bows and the Bownanza Week quests will be leaving Fortnite on March 1. However, one they’re gone, a new themed week kicks off on the same day at 9 AM ET, debuting more special quests for you to enjoy. Notably, the bows won’t be added to the competitive playlists.

If you’re a fan of the Fortnite bows, it is fun to be able to use them again, even if it is just for a limited time. It will be interesting to see if Epic Games brings back another weapon from the vault as a part of the next set of special quests. We will have to wait and see what Epic Games has up its sleeves for the end of Bownanza Week.
