Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – where to find the Golden Greathorn on Dondoko Island
One of the rarer insects on Dondoko Island is the Golden Greathorn, which I didn’t even find until I had upgraded the Bug Net. From what I can tell, there is only one place on the main island where you can find the prize. Look for the Golden Greathorn on The Dondoko Tree.
Although you can sell the Golden Greathorn for Dodobucks, it’s not as valuable as some varieties. I recommend saving at least a few, which you can give to guests when you need to improve their enjoyment of the resort. In particular, you should give them as gifts to Top Host Toa and Oil Baron Jack.

The Dondoko Tree area is adjacent to Dondoko Plaza, right near Matayoshi’s building. You can head out the front door and turn left to climb some wooden steps to the tree, which has a massive trunk that makes it hard to miss. Circle the trunk and catch the insects that are crawling over it. You can do this once daily. When it appears, the Golden Greathorn is typically on the side facing out toward the plaza.
Once you access Dondoko Farm, well into your adventures on the resort island, you can travel there using a raft on Mukku Beach. When you first appear, another Dondoko Tree (this one unlabeled) is waiting directly ahead of you. Sometimes, a Golden Greathorn will be waiting on it. I tend to have better luck closer to home, however. In a typical day on the islands, it’s worth checking both locations. You never know when you might get lucky!
