Hogwarts Legacy guide – How to unlock Reparo

The Reparo spell in Hogwarts Legacy is unlocked early in the campaign. To get it, you’ll need to attend two classes on your first day as a student: Charms (which gives you Accio) and Defense Against the Dark Arts (which gives you Levioso). Once you have those two abilities, talk to Professor Ronen who’s just outside the yard. He’ll ask you to find a couple of pages that are just flying around.

Make sure you’re tracking the main quest so the locations show up on your minimap. One is right next to a broken statue in the yard, and the other floating above the castle hall staircase. These objects might be a little hard to spot, so you’ll want to use Revelio (i.e., left on the d-pad) to make them visible. Once you do see them, use your Accio spell to pull them toward your character. These are actually Field Guide Pages, a type of collectible challenge.

Return to the professor and he’ll teach you the spell. You’ll have to trace the spiral-like pattern to fully obtain it.

Now that you have the Reparo spell in Hogwarts Legacy, use it to fix the nearby broken statue (the one that had a floating page a while ago). The ability will become useful from time to time, such as during specific quest objectives, general exploration, or while solving puzzles.

With all of the above finished, you should finally be allowed to visit Hogsmeade as part of the main quest.
