Far Cry 6 Yaran Contraband guide: How to get the El Caballero unique grenade launcher in F.I. Escudo Steel Plant in Cobre Shores
Like a bunch of other unique weapons in Far Cry 6, the El Caballero unique grenade launcher is found inside a Yaran Contraband chest. This container happens to be inside a shed in the F.I. Escudo Steel Plant.
The facility itself is located in the Cobre Shores zone of northwestern Madrugada. You can visit this area whenever you feel like it since the game encourages free-roam exploration. However, you’ll also drop by here while you’re doing an operation/main mission called “Diesel Daisy” (where you’d be looking for circuit boards). Oh, and before I forget, “Diesel Daisy” also takes you to a croc farm where you can complete a treasure hunt to get the Surf & Turf unique rifle.
In any case, as with other military bases, you have to take out the officer and grab the keycard. Likewise, you can kill all the soldiers and capture the base to turn it into a fast travel point (you should receive the keycard automatically). This lets you open the shed at the back of the facility where you’ll spot the chest.
Here are the mods of the El Caballero unique grenade launcher in Far Cry 6:
- Incendiary Grenades – Covers the target area in fires.
- Nimble Shooter – Improves movement speed while aiming.
- Reload All – Reloading this weapon reloads all other weapons.
To be frank, I didn’t really feel the need to use this weapon often in the campaign. I’m not a huge fan of incendiary effects at all.
