For starters, you can check on Johnny Silverhand’s relationship rating in the character menu. Open up the screen where your Inventory, Cyberware, and Journal is located. Then look at the three images at the top with percentages below them. The middle image symbolizes your relationship with Johnny Silverhand. And it’s the percentage beneath this image that tells us where we’re at.

As far as raising this percentage goes, you’ll have plenty of chances to do it. A handful of quests in Act 2 like Transmission and Automatic Love will reward +5% friendship. But the quests that increase Johnny’s friendship the most is his personal line of side quests. These quests include Chippin’ In, Blistering Love, Holdin’ On, and A Like Supreme. Chippin’ In increases the rating by 15%, while the other quests contribute 10% each. The only quest that might prove tricky is Chippin’ In since the relationship increase is dependent on your dialogue choices. So if you’re curious about how to get through this quest easily and raise your relationship with Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077, these are the options you need to pick.

  • “Let’s do something about that.”

  • “The Guy who Saved My Life.”

  • “Nah, fucked that up too.”

  • “What do you want from me?”

  • “OK. But as second chances go, this is your last.”

  • “You were a real dick in the beginning.”

  • “When you said you let down your friends…”

  • “Yeah, I’ll call Rogue.”

Once you do everything correctly, Johnny’s relationship should be at or over 70%. And once you’ve reached this, you’ll get to choose the Don’t Fear the Reaper ending. Siding with Johnny Silverhand is one of the cooler outcomes of Cyberpunk 2077, but you still get a lot of endings to choose from if you don’t want to take that path.
