Respawn co-founder and Titanfall and Call of Duty creator Vince Zampella has partnered with Larry Pacey to help fund Nuclear Division, a mobile game developer.
Wouldn’t you believe it. Yes, Sony had an opportunity to get Titanfall for their platforms, but screwed up in the negotiations. The real smacker here is the exclusivity deal EA did with Microsoft comes up in an entirely new light.
Titanfall Game Director Steve Fukuda went up on the official site to outline what they have planned next for the Microsoft exclusive shooter.
Steve explains Respawn is actually new to having to do post release game support, but they are at work at not just providing game updates, but improving their ‘update tempo.’
It has just been announced by Respawn that cheaters will no longer be put up with in Titanfall.
On the official site, the developer explained how cheaters will be removed from normal matchmaking and will only be able to play against other cheaters. This seems like a great idea rather than outright banning them.
