Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2023 start and end dates and times

While it’s yet to be confirmed, I’m almost positive Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost will start on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. MT / 12:00 p.m. CT / 1:00 p.m. ET. Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost will end on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the same time, which is 10:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. MT / 12:00 p.m. CT / 1:00 p.m. ET.

The reason I’m confident in those times and dates is in 2022, the Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost event went live on October 18 and ended on November 8, both at the weekly reset times. Knowing Bungie, they likely won’t change this.

All armor and masks in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2023

  • Destiny 2 Spider Armor Festival Of The Lost
  • Destiny 2 Beetle Armor Festival Of The Lost

Earlier this year, Destiny 2 players voted for which Festival of the Lost armor ornament they wanted and it was decided that Hunters and Titans will get the spider armor and Warlocks will get the beetle armor.

As a Warlock main, I’m happy we are getting the beetle armor, but as always, I’m jealous of the two spider armor sets Hunters and Titans are getting because I think they look really cool.

If you want a sneak peek at how the Festival of the Lost 2023 armor looks in game, check out the images in the latest TWID. Here, you’ll also learn about some new features including Legend Haunted Sectors, Eerie Engrams, and Hocus Focusing which includes Exotics.

How to get Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2023 armor ornaments

If it’s anything like it was in the past, which will likely be the case, you can purchase the Festival of the Lost 2023 armor ornaments with Bright Dust or Silver. Go to the store and then the event page. You should see your class’ armor available for 1,500 Silver or 6,000 Bright Dust.

Besides the unique armor ornaments, Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost will, of course, feature collectible masks. We’ll start by getting the Masquerader’s Helmet and then we’ll be able to equip mask ornaments to dress up for Halloween. You’ll be able to equip masks from previous years, earn extra candy, and look really cool.

I can’t wait to see what masks Bungie has planned for Festival of the Lost 2023. It’s been leaked that there will be a Calus mask, Tormentor mask, Mara Sov mask, Nimbus mask, Pouka mask, Clovis Bray mask, Disciple mask, and the Good Boy mask. I’m excited about the Pouka and Good Boy masks.

All weapons in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost

Thanks to the announcement in the latest TWID, we know that the new weapon introduced in Festival of the Lost 2023 is a Heavy Voice Grenade Launcher called Acosmic.

On light.gg, a credible data source for all things Destiny 2, the new weapon coming in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost is a Heavy Void Grenade Launcher with a Rapid-Fire Frame called Acosmic. Acosmic GSP actually comes with some pretty nice perks. Here are what the perks could be for Acosmic GSP:

  • Perk Slot 1: Enlightened Action, Impulse Amplifier, Surplus, Loose Change, Clown Cartridge, Field Prep, and Quickdraw.
  • Perk Slot 2: Repulsor Brace, Cascade Point, Explosive Light, Wellspring, Collective Action, Destabilizing Rounds, and High Ground.

Personally, I’m not too excited for Acosmic because I have a crafted Regnant that basically does the same thing but better. Also, none of the Festival of the Lost weapons are craftable, so you’ll need to pray to the RNG gods to get a good Acosmic roll.

If you don’t have a good Void Grenade Launcher, Acosmic isn’t bad. I think Impulse Amplifier or Quickdraw are the best perks for the first slot and Destabilizing Rounds, Explosive Light, or Repulsor Brace are the best perks for the second slot.

I’m looking forward to the Legend Haunted Sectors as I think that will be a fun way to spice up Destiny 2 as Season of the Witch comes to a close. Eerie Engrams are gonna be fun but I wish Bungie would unlock all old Exotics already since the ones locked behind past expansions are the only ones I’m missing.
