The ominous 13th season of Destiny 2 is finally here. It’s called the Season of the Chosen and it involves the arrival of Empress Caiatl. The daughter of Calus aims to make the Guardians bow down to her will, but you might be able to prove your mettle to prevent a war with the Cabal.

Bell of Conquest seasonal artifact – The new seasonal artifact has some of the old perks you’ve gotten used to, as well as a few cool surprises.

Seasonal and weekly challenges – Rather than having weekly bounties, Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen introduces the concept of seasonal and weekly challenges. They’re sort of like bounties, but they’re listed in a single panel.

Leveling guide to 1310 PL – It’s another season, so you know it’s time for yet another grind. We’re going to have to slog to reach the new pinnacle cap of 1310 PL.

Battlegrounds guide – The core gameplay activity in Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen involves Battlegrounds. These are fairly short romps for up to three players.

HELM and the War Table – Another fixture of the core gameplay loop involves visiting the command center for Vanguard operations.

The Hammer of Proving – The Hammer of Proving is something you obtain via Battlegrounds, and it’s also used for Umbral Engram focusing. Related mechanics include Cabal Gold and Tribute Chests.

Umbral Engrams and Prismatic Recaster guide – A feature from the Season of Arrivals makes its return. You’ll be able to select the types of gear pieces prior to decryption.

New Stasis aspects and fragments – The “Aspect of Influence” quest allows you to unlock new Stasis aspects for all three classes. You’ve even got several new Stasis fragments to choose from.

Salvager’s Salvo grenade launcher – The sole ritual weapon this season is an energy grenade launcher.

Challenger’s Proving II and Battleground: Cleansing – You can kill more Cabal in the Cosmodrome.

The Presage exotic quest – There’s a secret exotic quest that you can complete.

Locus of Communion cheese – That quest will culminate in a fight against the Locus of Communion. This baddie can also be cheesed.

Dead Man’s Tale scout rifle – After finishing The Presage, you’ll get this exotic scout rifle.
